‘So’ is translated from the Irish language meaning luxury. So Soy was launched in October 2016 by self-confessed candle lover Hannah. Born at the Giant’s Causeway and now moved to premises in Ballymoney, each and every candle is designed, hand poured and packaged on site. Made from a blend of soya beans and botanical oils, So Soy candles use wax from suppliers that are responsibly and ethically minded. Soy wax allows for a slower, sustainable burn that lasts longer than traditional petroleum based paraffin candles. Hannah works closely with a selection of UK based perfumers, using luxurious fragrance oils that are vegan friendly. Reed diffusers are also hand poured using a vegan friendly, soy formulated base.
